Sherlie Andrews
Sherlie is a Dyslexia Specialist with over twenty years of teaching and administration. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Samford University in Birmingham. Sherlie has been trained in many Orton-Gillingham based specialty programs and curriculums.
Sherlie has helped students and adults with dyslexia for 8 years. She has over twenty years of teaching and administration experience in both Mississippi and Alabama.

Courtney Klotz
Courtney Klotz brings over 20 years of nonprofit experience to her position as Executive Director & Head of School at The Renaissance School of the Eastern Shore. Courtney currently lives in the Fairhope area with her husband and three children. Courtney, her husband and children are all “outside-the-box” learners.

Nichole Yazzie is the Director of Business Administration for Renaissance School of the Eastern Shore in Daphne, Alabama. Nichole is a proud mother of two, and wife. She is great at organizational skills, and truly understands the needs of our students.

As a dyslexic, Jill Boyles approaches science with the heart of a teacher. Not only does she understand science but she also understands the learning needs of her students. She spent many years as a corporate trainer before becoming a stay at home mom. For the last five years Jill has been a Home School Mom sharing her love for science with the Baldwin County Home School Community.

JoAnn Clemmons comes to us from Del Rio, Texas where she accumulated over 7 years of differentiated instruction in private, district, and charter schools. JoAnn is committed to helping her students reach their full potential in the classroom and beyond. Her greatest asset is her patience and ability to reach children from different educational backgrounds.

Brittany Webber
Brittany is originally from the Birmingham area. She and her husband moved here in 2016 and now have a son, Curtis. She taught for two years in Talladega County before having Curtis, and took time off from teaching to focus on being a mom. Teaching is her heart and passion, and she is delighted to return as a Science instructor for The Renaissance School.

Joanne Baumhauer
After staying at home with her own children Joanne Murray Baumhauer decided to return to a professional setting. She was immediately drawn to education and felt that many students especially those with challenges needed a voice. Joanne is currently enrolled at University of West Florida where she will obtain a Masters in Education, she holds a Bachelor of Arts from Spring Hill College, is Crisis Prevention Institute Certified, and has worked in the field of Education since 2007. Joanne states “when students with challenges make strides it is just so special and rewarding!” Joanne currently resides in Fairhope with her husband and four children.

Jessica Vipperman
My name is Jessica Vipperman and I have a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a Master’s in education from the University of South Alabama. I’m married to Dan Vipperman and we are parents to 5 children ages 3 to 15. I grew up in Daphne and love the outdoors. I love the beach and kayaking on Mobile Bay. I’m excited to have the opportunity to teach at the Renaissance School and look forward to a great year.
