The Renaissance School of the Eastern Shore (RSES) is accredited by the International Association and the National Council for Private School Association and is confirmed by the College Board. These accreditations are recognized by the ACT, colleges, universities, and governing organizations for state and federal scholarships. They ensure that RSES meets state and federal standards while also fulfilling our own mission and vision.
It is important to note, however, that other individual schools or school systems may not always recognize this accreditation. As a result, if a student re-enters the public sector, they may be required to take tests to assess their placement.
Students entering RSES who are not performing at grade-level will be subject to state and federal standards. However, assignments and tests may be adjusted to accommodate individual learning differences. Our goal is to help each student reach their highest potential, recognizing that this potential varies from one student to another.
While RSES strives to support students and families in achieving personal academic goals, we cannot control a student’s specific ability level, diagnosis, or neurological condition. We are committed to doing our utmost for each student, ensuring that grading and assignments are differentiated to meet their unique needs.
Please understand that due to factors beyond RSES’s control – such as a student’s potential diagnosis, ability, or neurological condition – RSES cannot guarantee specific progression rates or the amount of advancement a student will make.
